WhatsApp Adds New Storage Feature to Manage Chat Space

If you’ve ever struggled with your phone storage filling up thanks to endless photos, videos, and documents in WhatsApp, you’re in luck. WhatsApp is rolling out a new storage feature that gives you much finer control over space, one chat at a time.

What’s changing

At the moment, WhatsApp allows you to manually get to its main settings and perform a cleaning up of the stored files that are taking up a lot of space through the “Manage Storage” tool. You’ll also be able to select multiple items and delete them in bulk — or mark certain ones as “starred” so you don’t accidentally delete them.
