Android Tricks: Enhance Media Visibility

We often suffer to see what is on our smartphone’s screen. The first thing we do is zoom in on text and objects. However, not every app responds to such tweaks. Interestingly, you can change media size by accessing the Android Setting app and going to the Display heading. Also, you can increase any logo design size through this feature. In the Display menu, you can click on the link for Font size, and adjust the default font size for your Android device. Moreover, you can choose the display size link to adjust the size of on-screen objects and texts.

Android Tricks: Toggling Volume Settings

An Android phone can play various types of audio such as notifications, ringtones, alarms, calls, and much more. But, you can access the Settings menu, by opening Sounds>Tapped Volume. Then, you will see individual sliders for adjusting the volume of different audio types.

In addition, Android OS offers a hassle-free way to adjust volume. If you are using an Android phone, then chances are that you might love the way it allows you to adjust volume through the side buttons. If media is played, the volume buttons can control its volume, on another hand, when these buttons are pressed on any other screen, they can adjust the volume.

Many times, there is an icon on the top right corner of the volume box, upon pressing this icon, you will see adjustment levels for different audio types such as ringtone, media, alarm, notification, and system sound volume.

Android Tricks: Accessibility of Apps

How many times has it happened that you gave your phone to a friend and he opened different apps or even worse accessed your private photo gallery? If it ever happened to you, then you need to be generous. As the screen pinning allows you to secure your apps with privacy options. You can pin an app, it will allow others to access a specific app only, until you enter the screen lock code again. In essence, users will not be able to access other apps on a phone without entering the code.

Screen pinning is relatively easy to utilize. You can access Settings, go to Security, and Mark enables screen pinning. The moment you activate this feature, you can launch an app that your friend wants to use. Launch Overview by tapping on the square navigation button that is under the phone screen. In the window for recently opened apps, you will see a pin icon that looks similar to a tiny thumbtack at the bottom right corner. You can tap on the pin button to pin an app to the screen.

Android Tricks: Screen Casting

Nothing can beat the fun of watching your smartphone screen begin shared on the television. Be it an enormous OLED or a lovely television set, seeing your smartphone’s photos, videos, and apps triggers positive feelings. Moreover, think about searching for your favorite movie, checking its IMDB rating, and watching its trailer on television which you had previously been able to do on a smartphone only. However, if don’t have a SmartTV or an Android-powered TV, then you will surely need a Chromecast device.

Chrome cast will enable you to broadcast mobile screen media on almost every television. Moreover, it displays the larger version of your mobile screen media. In addition, many phones name it screen mirroring. You can find this option in the notification bar which can be accessed by dragging down the notification panel from the top. But, make sure to install Google Home App on your Android device. Many devices don’t offer a screencasting option.

Android Tricks: Run Apps Subsequently on a Single Screen

Among the newly added features in the Android OS is running apps side-by-side on a single screen. This feature is useful when a user wants to see photos, scroll through social media posts, or multitask in any other way. However, this feature has proven to be lagging in gaming and some apps. To use this feature, you can click on the overview button, the one square icon under the screen, and select one of the recently run apps that you want to see inside by side mode.

You can hold and drag an app to the top by dragging its title bar. Moreover, you can select another app to view.
