Today I am going to explain youtube channel art-making. In this tutorial, we will discuss the fact of creating a brand new YouTube template for your youtube channel for free.

As there is plenty of websites that show you how to make your YouTube channel art, but they are not free one and come with a watermark. They charge some amount of money for their service to make your YouTube banner. So here is the easiest way to create channel art for your channel for free.

For this, you need to understand the exact resolution of the template image of your YouTube channel. YouTube dashboard is different on PC or desktop, mobile, TV, etc.

2048 * 1152 px – The safe area where text and logos are displayed.

2560 * 423 px – Depending on browser size where the safe area is visible.

2560 * 1440 px – The actual size of the image, recommended by Google [YouTube].

The maximum uploading size should be 4MB or smaller on YouTube.

First of all, you need to log on to your YouTube channel and click on My Channel. In the top right-hand corner of your channel and click Edit Channel Art. As you will see a channel art pop up, from there you can click on how to create channel art. You will then be redirected to a page named YouTube help [Create or edit channel art].

You can download their YouTube channel art templates to see how it works on different devices like Desktop, Android, Tablets, iOS, TV, etc. After downloading the channel art template, you will be getting different files inside the Zip file with an extension like PSD [Photoshop], Png, or other, etc. You can use PSD files on Photoshop and Png files on picmonkey.com
