Android to Google pixel – So how to transfer your old Android data to your new Google pixel phone. For data transfer you need few things like Android device, Google pixel device, mini USB and a data cable. From all, you will be getting a mini USB adapter from Google pixel. This adapter will help you to transfer the data from your old Android phone to Google pixel. You need to plug the mini USB to the old Android device and the other to the new Google pixel device.

First of all you need to backup your new Google pixel data. For this you need to go to pixel setting – backup and reset – factory data reset on your phone. That will go ahead and reset everything from your new Google pixel phone. Once you set a reset to Google pixel, then you will be getting a let’s Go menu in your device. Press or hit let’s Go button, then you will be prompted with a message ‘Welcome To Your Pixel XL’. Copy your data from Android, iPhone device or cloud etc. So you need to press ‘copy your data’ and then connect to your WIFI to download the transfer App, that will helps to transfer the data from both devices.

Transferring Android to Google pixel

Once you go through from your Google pixel WIFI, it will then check for the updates and data transfer tool. The next step is to copy you data using a cable. So what we going to do is to plug the mini USB data to both ends or bottom of the devices [Android and Google pixel]. When done, you will receive a short message in your old Android phone saying ‘Connected to your new device’. Hit next button to your old device and then hit the copy button. On your Google pixel phone you will be getting options like – Choose what to copy or select what you want to copy – Contacts, Music, Photo and videos, WIFI passwords and SMS messages etc. You can select or deselect what ever you need to copy on your new Google pixel phone.

Finally click on the Copy button to finish the whole process. It will took few seconds or minutes depending upon your phone data size. After copying, you will be getting a message in your old Android phone and new Google Pixel phone saying ‘Data copied or All done’. Hit next button in the Google pixel phone and put in your name. Hit next and skip finger print and turn off all the Google services. Click next and then click All set. ‘Your Phone is almost ready’ and hit Finish button.

All the data has been copied from your old Android phone to you new Google pixel phone. Make sure you have enough battery power on both the phone or devices for a transfer. In this way you can transfer data from Android to Google pixel.
