For verifying a Facebook page, you need lots of Facebook likes to your page and post regularly on your page. Profiles and pages are verified by Facebook so that people or users may know that those pages and profiles are authentic and safe.

  • You need to go and click on Settings at the top of your page.
  • In General settings, you will see a page verification option says ”Page not verified”.
  • Click on it and you will get an option to verify this page. Once opened it will show you the business phone number. Enter your Public Business Phone number.
  • Then enter Extension, Country, Call Language and click on Call Me Now.
  • You will get a voice message about the code. Listen for the 4 digit verification code by an automated voice message and enter into the box.
  • Click the Continue button.

Congratulations! your page is verified now.

Verify Facebook Page with a business document

If you like to verify Facebook Page with a business document, Then you need to follow these steps below and then upload a picture of an official document by showing your business name and address. Go to Settings, click Visit Help Center.

Go to Pages Name, Usernames, and Verification

Search for ”How do I verify my Page?” Just click on it.

Once you are on the selected verified page, Select your page and attach the file asked by Facebook like Driver License, Passport, Birth certificate or Article Of Incorporation.

After attaching the document, Facebook asks you for your put a link to your official Website. When done, click on the Send button.

After page verification on Facebook, you can also change your page name to another. You need to edit or submit a request to Facebook for a page name change. you can change your page name from a Company to People.
