108 Megapixel Camera Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Total 5 back cameras

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 with 5 Back Cameras

So, this is the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, the 108-megapixel camera smartphone. As it has a 108-megapixel camera on the back. So that is a wild number of 108 megapixels.

The resolution of one photo from a typical 12 MP camera like the iPhone is around 4000 * 3000 so that totals around 12 million pixels 12 megapixels. So the same scene from this new Xiaomi camera comes in at 12000 * 9000 which is multiplied to get you 108 million pixels or 108 megapixels.

108 Megapixel Camera

You have probably noticed there are actually 5 total cameras on the back of this phone. The 108-megapixel main camera then there’s a 12 megapixel, 2x telephoto, a 20 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5-megapixel super-telephoto at 5x, and a 2-megapixel macro camera and there are also 2 flashes two pairs of flash.

So you’re getting about 3 times the vertical and horizontal resolution to make these numbers and the file size has ranged from about 20 – 30 megabytes per photo so it’s pretty big.

How good the photos actually look in Xiaomi Mi Note 10

As, there are a lot of things that contribute to the quality of a smartphone photo-like color accuracy, exposure, dynamic range, contrast, etc.

But the main thing you’re gonna notice with such a high resolution here is sharpness and detail. The photos in the 108-megapixel mode are significantly sharper more detailed than any other smartphone.

For the starters, there are 5 cameras. There is a main 108-megapixel wide-angle camera. There is a separate mode for taking 108-megapixel photos typically when you just open the camera in photo mode.

You’re gonna take scaled roughly 27-megapixel photos still high-end that’s still a lot of pixels.

But that’s where it performs well you can zoom in and out and with the extra lenses you can get  2X – 5X and then even further with hybrid zoom, macro shots are cool and ultra-wide.

So, if you’ll you switch over to the 108-megapixel mode and things slow down quite a bit.

Once you view the huge photo it doesn’t actually load the whole image right away it loads a smaller proxy until you actually zoom. In which case it decides up okay you’re looking for that extra resolution and then it loads up the full-size preview and you can see it sharpen up.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Dark Mode

There is a proper dark mode to save even more battery. There is also an improvement to the built-in productivity tool with the nice-looking ambient display. Overall, the dark mode looks stunning and impressive in this phone.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Overall Specs

  1. Camera with 108MP main camera
  2. AMOLED display 6.47″ 3D curved
  3. Responsive fingerprint sensor
  4. 5260mAh battery
  5. 30W fast charge

When you read the specs sheet of this phone, 3 things stick out. That is a Penta camera setup onto the back and one of the cameras has a 108-megapixel resolution.

With these record-breaking specifications, it’s feel good. As it’s a heavy encased phone with gorilla glass 5.

The specs include a Snapdragon 730 G chip and you’re looking at 6 GB of RAM and 128 gigs of storage as the only spec. In general, it’s not gonna be the best equipped for spitting out 20-megabyte image files and manipulating them in real-time.

5260 mAh Battery

Moreover, you have got a 5260 milliamp-hour battery and there’s a 30-watt fast charger in the box. So there is a USBC cable and 30 Watt fast charger, which is pretty impressive.

Generally, the display itself is nice it’s a 1080p AMOLED with just that small notch at the top.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a headphone jack with a good display of 1080p. There are an in-display fingerprint reader and a headphone jack with an IR blaster.

Moreover, you can see it’s running MIUI’s new UI 11 on top of android which has plenty of its own characteristics and features.

Visually it’s far cleaner, Xiaomi has removed a lot of the noise and extra UI elements that are not needed. The result is a really clean and polished experience.

It’s definitely an improvement over the previous version from what you have used, but clearly still skinned. So overall, we have a legitimate like an actual 108 MP sensor that can fit in a smartphone today.

Like just for the number on the paper that’s really cool it’s not some faked composition adding up detail from 3 different cameras it’s real is it good.
